We are both school teachers in Atlanta, Georgia. We met on a dating app called Bumble. Our first date was 12 hours long; the date began with lunch at La Parrilla Mexican restaurant, Top Golf, and then dinner at a popular restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia called Six Feet Under.
After six months of dating, we went on our first major trip to Acapulco, Mexico in February and loved it! We dated for almost 2 years and Sean proposed on our impromptu trip to Cancun Valentine’s Day weekend 2021.
We chose Acapulco because it was our first trip together and we immediately felt a connection to this amazing city.
We chose Banyan Tree Cabo Marqués because of the impeccable 5 star service and wanted 5 star service for our wedding. We made the decision to host our wedding there after a short stay. The wedding coordinating team started the planning process seamlessly. It was an incredible experience.

I have dreamt of my wedding day my whole life and still my wedding day exceeded my expectations. It truly was the best day of our lives and we will be celebrating our anniversary at Banyan Tree for the foreseeable future.
