They chose San Miguel de Allende as a destination that was typical Mexican, but with romance, sophistication and Eclectic style, something different from a beach wedding.
A magical celebration in every way in Lauren and Chris wedding, starting with a private rehearsal dinner with close friends at the terrace of Casa Hyder, where they tasted a Mexican dinner and where the bride wore a modified Texan cowgirl outfit that belonged to her grandmother in the 50’s.
Next day, a relaxed welcome party was given in an beautiful terrace, just next to the Parish, the bride and groom and all the guests had an afternoon full of tequila, tacos and quesadillas, most traditional dishes from Mexico and that the guests from Texas acclaim the most, were served on clay plates. A Mezcal corner was an amenity that everybody enjoyed.
The ceremony was in the garden of the Belmond Sierra Nevada Hotel and was framed under an arch of beautiful Bougainvilleas and roses, which, combined with the flowers that adorned the place, gave the perfect touch so that the harmony of the place was immaculate.
Shades of pink in different intensities were perfect for the bride’s bouquet where the protagonist was an impressive protea queen.
We could not continue without an incredible wedding parade around the downtown, where two mojigangas danced to the sound of the mariachi, accompanying them all their way and ending at Casa Hyder, receiving everyone with a welcome cocktail around the pool.
The reception was inspired by the forest with a great contrast of lights and pink tones. The tables were located on the main garden of the house, in the center of them there was a row of moss that covered them from shore to shore and, on the moss, groups of flowers and candles that made a great contrast with the large and impressive gardens pendants.
On the dance floor and in the middle of lush trees, there were large morovian stars with lights inside, which took you on a trip to some fantasy place, the kind you only read in stories and that gave a romantic and magical atmosphere.
